The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, part of the U.S. Department of Transportation, is tasked with upholding safety standards in automobile manufacturing. To do so, the NHTSA conducts multiple vehicle safety tests and uses a 5-star scale when measuring results.
In the NHTSA’s rating, the 2022 Honda Accord LX trim impressed by scoring five stars in the following categories:
