The Honda Accord Hybrid and CR-V Hybrid have been top choices for several years. These hybrid vehicles rely on a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors to deliver 204 horsepower. Both models have the electronic continuously variable automatic transmission. A hybrid or “mild-hybrid” vehicle does not require charging from an external source. The hybrid powertrain uses regenerative braking and the gas-powered engine to power the electric motor, then the electric motor assists the gas-powered motor to reduce reliance on fuel.

As a fully-electric car, the Prologue will never use gasoline and has no harmful carbon emissions. You’ll never have to stop at a gas station for a fill-up unless the station has an EV charger. The Prologue is expected to arrive on dealership lots in 2024.
